From Havre High School
Havre High School announced that junior Dexter Beck was named as one of its March students of the month
The son of Kenny and Michale, Dexter has two older siblings, Tabitha, 28, and Katie, 23.
Dexter is a member of the Havre High football team, as well as the Matball Champion of the World, while outside of the classroom he enjoys playing hockey, working at the Cottonwood Cinema, and practicing kick-steps with Kasee Henderson.
Dexter was nominated by Heather Haney because he "is always kind and respectful. ... (Dexter) is a joy to have in class and his attitude is always positive."
After graduation, Dexter plans to go to college.
Havre High's other March student of the month is Kasee Henderson, also a junior.
The grandson of Floyd St. Marks and Denise Windy Boy, Kasee has one younger sibling, Koda, 12.
Kasee is an active member of both the Havre High football and track and field teams. He also works at Rod's Drive-in, lifts weights and is a member of Domination Nation. His hobbies and interests include practicing kick-steps with Dexter Beck and discussing the role of the fullback in modern-day pass-heavy offenses.
Kasee was nominated by Ryan Gatch because he "demonstrates loyalty to our school, community and his classmates. ... (Kasee) "advocates for students and peers (and) is consistently engaged in class activity."
Kasee's plans for the future include playing football at the collegiate level, majoring in history and becoming a teacher.
