Local businesses have the opportunity to get some information on a variety of topics at the Assistance for Business Clinic scheduled for Havre Tuesday, May 14.
The Assistance for Business Clinics are designed to provide new and established businesses, accountants, bookkeepers, human resource professionals and attorneys with updated information on topics such as Montana Department of Revenue’s new Form MW-4 and their E-Services, Unemployment Insurance Tax requirements, workers’ compensation coverage, independent contractor regulations, using labor market information to make business decisions, the Registered Apprenticeship Program, tax incentives, minimum wage, overtime, new hire reporting, and USERRA laws and regulations.
CPE, CLE, SHRM and/or HRCI credits are available for attendees.
The Montana Department of Labor and Industry, Montana Department of Revenue, Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, U.S. Department of Labor, and Montana Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve in partnership with local chambers of commerce, Job Service employer committees, and Montana State University host ABC statewide.
The clinic will be held in Havre in Montana State University-Northern’s Hensler Auditorium in the Applied Technology Center May 14, from 8 to 5 p.m. with registration starting at 7:30 a.m.
The clinic costs $40 per person.
