Firefighters responding to a smoke detector alarm on the 2400 Block of Fifth Avenue at 2:21 a.m. today found that an alarm was malfunctioning.

Havre Animal Shelter
The Havre shelter this morning held three medium-hair cats, one long-hair cat, one short-hair cat, a medium-hair 15-week-old kitten and a medium-hair 8-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and two medium-hair female cats.

The Havre shelter also held this morning three male mixed-breed 26-week-old puppies, four female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a female mixed-breed 15-week-old puppy, a male mixed-breed 13-week-old puppy, a male pit bull terrier dog and a male Labrador retriever-pit bull terrier 21-week-old puppy.
