Gloria Fay Leeds had been suffering with COPD the last few years of her life.
On April 11, 2019, God brought her to a place that allows her to breathe effortlessly with all the fresh air she desires. A celebration of Gloria's life will be held in June with details will follow at a later date. Memorials in Gloria's name may be made to the "Change for a Dollar" program at Fifth Avenue Christian Church or the donor's choice.
Holland and Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Please visit Gloria's online memorial page and leave a message of condolence for her family at http://www.hollandbonine.com.
Gloria was born on May 12, 1953, in Havre to Percy Turner and Mildred Walker Turner. She graduated from Havre High and remained in Havre for the rest of her life.
After high school, she married James Leeds. Together they raised three sons. Even though at a later date Mom and Dad parted ways, they remained lifelong friends.
Gloria spent most of her working career in retail sales. She was very much a social bug. Dancing was one of her favorite activities. She attended every one of her grandchildren's activities, all the way to the day her lungs said, "no more."
Gloria was preceded in death by her father, Percy; and lifelong friend, Jim.
She is survived by her mother, Mildred "Skip" English; sisters, Linda (Larry) Nitz, Donna (Vaughn) DeLeeuw, and Velda Nicholls, brother, Ben (Mary) Turner; sons, Scott (Kimberly), Doug (Shauna) and Kevin (Kelly); 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and special friend, Sharon Belcourt.
