Kinzee Peterson, Havre High Softball

Hitting home runs isn’t new to Havre High softball senior Kinzee Peterson, but she certainly hasn’t had a four-game barrage like she did last weekend in Lewistown before. Peterson, the Blue Ponies’ star catcher belted five home runs in last weekend’s Lewistown Invitational, helping the Ponies to a 2-2 record. Peterson, who is an all-state hockey player, and a Blue Pony golfer, hit two dingers in one game and one each in three more.

Brad Cichosz, Harlem Track

After an injury forced him to miss much of his sophomore basketball season, Harlem’s Brad Cichosz is making up for lost time on the track. At last Saturday’s Havre Lions Invitational, Cichosz swept the boys 1,600 and 3,200 meters, winning the mile in 4:56 and the two-mile in 10:39. Cichosz has won distance races four times already this season, and he was a standout runner in cross country last fall. He also earned Class B honors in hoops in 2018.
