Corrections - Hill County Park Board Finance and Planning Committee meeting

A story printed on Page A1 of Friday’s edition of the Havre Daily News misreported or misrepresented several issues. A proposal for the park board to provide matching grants to fund projects in Beaver Creek Park is still in the early planning stages with no definite dates or projects set and would have to go before the park board for approval. The proposed folf course would not cost the Finance and Planning Committee anything because it is an advisory committee, but the course is expected to cost Beaver Creek Park very little if created. Lou Hagener is not a member of the committee but a community member and user of the park who attended and commented at the meeting.
