Correction - Pinocci on coal energy

A front-page story that ran in the April 1 edition of The Havre Daily News misreported that Public Service Commissioner Randy Pinocci opposed Senate Bill 331 that would allow NorthWestern Energy to purchase part of the Colstrip coal-fired generator facility for $1. Pinocci said he said during the North Central Pachyderm meeting in Havre that he supported the bill — and that he voted in support of it on the PSC — but had concerns about PSC oversight under the bill. He said legislators and NorthWestern Energy amended the bill and addressed his concerns.
