Havre Police Department

Officers made an arrest on Fifth Street Thursday at 8:20 a.m. and Michael James Gregori, named in the dispatch log as being involved in the call, was listed in the jail roster as being held on pending felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession with intent to sell.

A Second Street caller reported possible vandalism at a residence Thursday at 9:01 a.m.

A newer iPhone and case were reported lost by an 11th Avenue caller Thursday at 10:29 a.m.

Kyle Steven Winn of Havre, 31, was issued a summons on charges of endangering the welfare of children after an 11th Street West caller reported suspicious activity Thursday at 11:33 a.m.

Jephrey Joseph Julian of Havre, 32, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, after a probation and parole agent requested assistance Thursday at 1:18 p.m.

Verlas Reylynne Chiefstick of Box Elder, 60, was arrested on charges of shoplifting, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, along with a Justice or City court warrant and a state District Court warrant, after a caller at a First Street business asked Thursday at 7:30 p.m. to have an intoxicated woman was driving an electric cart into the walls removed from the business.

Officers were called to a First Street West business at 4:01 a.m. today on a complaint of noise and an underage party. Police Chief Gabe Matosich said later that officers did break up a party and had to chase down some of the suspects. They were still finishing paperwork, but he could say that summonses were issued to two juveniles for minor in possession and nine people, 18 or older, were cited on various charges of MIP, endangering the welfare of children and social host violation. An adult male was arrested and taken to the detention center.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies issued a summons after a Ninth Street East caller reported a man trespassing on property Thursday at 3:26 p.m. No details on the charges was provided.

Deputies were called at 4:10 a.m. to assist officers on First Street West.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Thursday and two early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held three medium-hair cats, one long-hair cat, a medium-hair 13-week-old kitten and a medium-hair 8-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and one medium-hair female cat. Two other cats were being held at a foster as part of the trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning three female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a female mixed-breed 13-week-old puppy, a female husky dog, a male pit bull terrier dog and a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog.

Births

A girl was born Monday, April 8, 2019, to Kimberly and Michael Vohs of Box Elder.
