Obituary - Tyra Lynn Parker

Tyra Lynn Parker of Rocky Boy, age 13, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.

A wake started Monday, April 8, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. and will continue until Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., when a funeral will be held all at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Rocky Boy.

Holland and Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Tyra was born on December 20, 2005, in Havre to Leslee Parisian and Chad Parker. She was raised in Rocky Bboy and attended junior high school there. In May of 2016 Tyra was diagnosed with leukemia and she beat it; she had been cancer free for over a year at the time of her passing.

Tyra was fun-loving and loved to tease and tell jokes. She was often glued to her phone like most teenagers and liked snapchatting with friends and online shopping she was a brand name connoisseur and owned just about every product Apple made and was proud of her Michael Kors purse. Tyra was very close to her family, especially her grandmother Evelyn and cousin, Araiah.

Tyra was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Patricia Azure, Glenda Salois, Raymond Parker Sr. and Thomas Zeke Parisian; and uncle Shawn Parker.

She is survived by her parents, Leslee Parisian and Chad Parker; siblings, Jacoby, Bentlee, Kayden and Araiah Parker and Sarah Parisian; grandparents, Evelyn Oats, Fawn and Raymond Parker Jr., Delores Lori Parisian and George (Tami) Pucksue Parisian; great-grandparents Violet and Robert Oats, Irene Parisian and Merceline Parker, and numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
