Havre Police Department

A Fourth Street caller reported Thursday at 6:03 a.m. that things were stolen out of his pickup truck.

Officers made a transport Thursday at 9:14 a.m. for Mal'luch O'Meara of Havre, 25, who had been arrested on a partner of family member assault reported Wednesday at 8:29 p.m.

Officers provided an assist to Havre Fire Department on Second Street West at 1:15 p.m. Thursday.

--

A First Street Northeast caller requested an officer standby at 3:26 p.m. Thursday.

--

A Havre area caller asked to speak to an officer Thursday at 5 p.m.

--

Thursday at 5:29 p.m., someone stopped at the police station to report property had been stolen.

--

Tia Lorraine St. Marks of Havre, 31, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and charges of violation of conditions of release and possession of dangerous drugs, during a vehicle stop on Fifth Avenue at 7:25 p.m. Thursday.

Jamie Lea Dowling of Havre, 21, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, during a vehicle stop Thursday at 8 p.m. at First Street and Fifth Avenue.

Officers performed a building check on the Montana State University-Northern campus at 12:08 a.m. today.

--

Someone with the county reported a water break on 6th Street at 1:09 a.m. today, and Public Works was notified.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Russell Thomas Schade of Havre, 29, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant at Hill County Detention Center at 4:14 p.m. Thursday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Thursday.

Firefighters responded to two calls Thursday - one at 12:29 p.m. on the 1000 Block of 16th Street West and the other at 9:29 p.m. on the 1500 Block of Second Street. In both calls someone reported a smoke smell, but the responding fire unit found no evidence of smoke or fire.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held three medium-hair cats, one long-hair 8-month-old kitten and a medium-hair 7-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and one medium-hair female cat. Another 26 cats were being held in the shelter and at a foster as part of the trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning three female mixed-breed dogs, female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 18-week-old puppy, a male pit bull terrier dog and a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog.
