Havre Police Department

Marvin Dale Spotted Bird of Havre, 24, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served on 12th Avenue Thursday at 6:56 a.m. after a caller on Fourth Street reported at 6:39 a.m. that a man was being disruptive outside.

Someone stopped at the police station Thursday at 8:59 a.m. to report a fraud.

A white mountain bike was reported found Thursday at 10:09 a.m. by a First Avenue caller.

--

A caller at Montana State University-Northern reported a broken lock on a door to the roof of a residence hall at 4:50 a.m. Thursday.

--

A12th Avenue caller reported a water leak at 6:36 p.m. Thursday and the report was referred to another agency.

Someone stopped at the police station Thursday at 10:43 p.m. to request a voucher.

Thursday at 11:02 p.m., a caller at a First Street business reported a woman had fallen on the floor.

A water break was reported on Lincoln Avenue at 12:32 a.m. today.

Brandy Leian Stimson of Havre, 20, was issued a summons on charges of driving without a driver's license and violation of conditions of release, after an officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity on Second Street at 1:19 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A Seventh Street East caller reported check fraud at 12:38 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies investigated after a 12:48 p.m. Thursday caller on Rudyard's third Street Northwest asked for assistance.

Ramona Lynn Abeita of Box Elder, 39, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a shoplifter.

Deputies assisted Rocky Boy Police Department with a be-on-the-lookout alert at 11:45 p.m. Thursday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday and one early this morning, and firefighters were called to the 10 Block of Third Street West at 1 a.m. today for what turned out to be an unintentional alarm caused by burnt toast.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held four medium-hair cats, one long-hair 8-month-old kitten and a medium-hair 7-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, three medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and four 10-week-old kittens, three females and one male. Another 19 cats were being held in the shelter and at a foster as part of the trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning three female mixed-breed dogs, female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 17-week-old puppy, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-Australian shepherd dog, a male pit bull terrier dog and a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog.
