A caller at a Montana State University-Northern residence hall reported a stolen phone at 2:54 a.m. today.
Hill County Sheriff's Office
Deputies were called to a U.S. Highway 2 East residence Wednesday at 6:18 p.m. about a missing person. Personnel from the sheriff's office, U.S. Border Patrol and Hill County Search and Rescue conducted a search and the person was found and returned home safely.

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Wednesday.
Havre Animal Shelter
The Havre shelter this morning held three medium-hair cats, one long-hair 8-month-old kitten and a medium-hair 7-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, three medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and one medium-hair female cat. Another 10 cats were being held in the shelter as part of the trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning three female mixed-breed dogs, female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 17-week-old puppy, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-Australian shepherd dog, a male pit bull terrier dog and a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog.
