Press release
The Hill County Conservation District and U.S. Natural Resources Conservation Service will be hosting the local working group meeting April 3 at 3 p.m. at the USDA Service Center Conference Room, located at 206 25th Ave. West in Havre.
The local working group meeting is an opportunity for farmers, landowners, conservation partners and other members of the community to discuss the natural resource needs for Hill County.
Based on feedback from the meeting, NRCS updates the county’s long-range plan and develops new Targeted Implementation Plans to address those resource concerns. People can contact HCCD or NRCS at any time to express concerns or comments about conservation needs in the county, and they encourage people to attend the next local working group meeting April 3.
For accommodations or more information, people can contact Laurie Massar at 406-879-3349 or Kat Whitaker at 265-6792 ext. 3334.
