June M. Skillman of Havre, age 92, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at her home with family at her side.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Fifth Avenue Christian Church.
Memorials in June's name may be made to the Montana Association of the Blind, Fifth Avenue Christian Church or the charity of the donor's choice. Holland and Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.

June Marguerite Bergvall Skillman was born in Havre on June 15, 1926, to Adolph and Marie Bergvall. She grew up on a ranch south of Havre. When she was six her father passed away, her mother later remarried Edward Dahlin. In May of 1944, June graduated from Havre High School.
On June 17, 1944, June Bergvall married Granville Skillman in Havre and the couple moved to a ranch southeast of Livingston. They continued to ranch in the area for 56 years. June and Granville raised their four children on the ranch, and she was a wonderful mother.
In 2000 the couple moved to Havre where June resided until the present. June enjoyed fishing, sewing, gardening, reading and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by parents, Adolph and Marie; husband, Granville; daughter Marguerite Cain; brothers and sisters-in-law, Deforst (Virginia) Bergvall, Dick (Ruth) Bergvall, Pat (Maribeth) Dahlin, Jack (Yvonne) Dahlin and David (Kathy) Dahlin; and sister and brother-in-law Lois (Ken) Mason.
June is survived by her son, Stuart (Cheryl) Skillman of Mount Vernon, WA; daughters Janice Skillman and Rose (Matt) Kretchmer all of Havre; sister Sandi (Sam) Gettle of Santa Clara, CA; grandchildren, David (Stephanie) Cain of Papillion, NE, Ramona (Rick) Chrisman of Deer Lodge, MT, Christine (David) Wilms and Michelle Skillman, all of Mount Vernon, WA; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
