Local News - Spring Fling Family Carnival set for Saturday

Plant a Seed … Read is holding a family carnival Saturday at the Holiday Village Mall.

The event, which is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., is for children ages 1 to 8.

Activities include a fish pond, lollipop tree, Playdough, a crazy caterpillar drop, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” necklaces, ladybug races, an ice cream cone bean bag toss, a ladder ball toss, a knock down cans game, a corn hole game and a photo booth.

At the carnival, people also can enroll children ages birth to 4 in the Imagination Library, adopt a reader, donate to Plant a Seed … Read and purchase Plant a Seed … Read T-shirts.
