Havre Police Department

A Fourth Street caller reported at 6:32 a.m. Thursday that an orange 2006 Chevrolet HHR was left running and someone stole it.

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of underage tobacco possession or consumption after a caller at Havre Middle School reported an offense at 10:43 a.m.

--

Thursday at 4:01 p.m. a set of keys was reported found at a 19th Avenue West business.

--

A caller at a 13th Street facility reported Thursday at 4:22 p.m. checks were being taken from him, and the report was referred to another law enforcement agency.

Steven Lee Strike of Havre, 31, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant during a vehicle stop on Fourth Street at 2:58 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A bullhook Road caller reported a scam call Thursday at 10:37 a.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Thursday and one call early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

   The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats, two long-hair 8-month-old kittens, one long-hair 10-month-old kitten and a medium-hair 7-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and one medium-hair female cat. Seven cats are also being held for the shelter's trap-spay-neuter-release program.

   The Havre shelter also held this morning four female mixed-breed dogs, female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 15-week-old puppy, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-Australian shepherd dog, three 7-week-old pit bull terrier puppies, two male and one female, one male pit bull terrier dog, a male mixed-breed 6-month-old puppy and a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog.
