Havre Police Department

A Heritage Drive caller complained Wednesday at 7:26 a.m. about a snow removal problem, and the issue was referred to a service agency.

Christopher Douglas Davis of Vancouver, Washington, 26, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, during a vehicle stop on Second Avenue Wednesday at 3:45 p.m.

Someone stopped at the police station Wednesday at 6:16 p.m. to report identity theft.

--

A Cleveland Avenue caller reported water in her basement at 2:39 a.m. today.

--

A Wilson Avenue caller asked for officer assistance at 4:12 this morning.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Triston Alexander Ehry of Havre, 21, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Wednesday at 2:31 p.m. at the probation and parole office.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 East business Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

--

A caller traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 87 10 miles out of Big Sandy reported a deer that was hit by a vehicle was badly injured and need to be euthanized.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a carbon-monoxide alarm at 9:41 a.m. Wednesday on the 900 Block of Sixth Avenue, but they could not detect the gas. NorthWestern Energy was called in, but they could not detect it either.

Firefighters were called to the 1000 Block of First Street at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday for a natural gas leak that was detected at the meter. The crew remained on standby until NorthWestern Energy arrived.

Havre Animal Shelter

   The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats, two long-hair 8-month-old kittens, one long-hair 10-month-old kitten and a medium-hair 7-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one short-hair female cat and one medium-hair female cat. Seven cats are also being held for the shelter's trap-spay-neuter-release program.

   The Havre shelter also held this morning four female mixed-breed dogs, a male Rottweiler-German shepherd dog, female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 15-week-old puppy, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-Australian shepherd dog, three 7-week-old pit bull terrier puppies, two male and one female, one male pit bull terrier dog, a male mixed-breed 26-week-old puppy and a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog.
