The Havre Public Schools Foundation announced a new scholarship will be offered this year.
The Wayne Thurston Memorial Scholarship will award one $2,000 or two $1,000 scholarships to students pursuing a degree in a STEM — science, technology, engineering or mathematics — field. The award will be available to students graduating from a Hill County school this spring.
The application form is located on the Havre Public Schools Education Foundation scholarship website, http://www.hpseducationfoundation.com/.
Applications must be received by the HPS Education Foundation by April 1.
Winners will be chosen by the Hi-Line Amateur Radio Club.
