Havre Police Department

A caller asked officers Monday at 1:57 p.m. for a well-being check on someone on Ninth Avenue Northwest.

Monday at 3:26 p.m., a caller asked officers for a well-being check on someone on Third Street.

--

An arrest was made after an officer initiated investigation of a man and woman in the alley between Second and Third streets Monday at 4:22 p.m. The jail roster lists Kaleb Freyholtz, an involved party named on the dispatch log, as being held on charges of failure to appear, contempt of court, driving with a suspended driver's license and failure to show insurance, with a total bond of $2,040.

Jaime Dawn The Boy of Havre, 42, was arrested on a state District Court warrant which was served on her at or by Havre Middle School Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Lacey Marie Pitkanen of Harlem, 35, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center at 10 p.m. Monday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A Fourth Street North caller reported a smashed mailbox Monday at 10:56 a.m.

A vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2, seven miles from Havre, reported at 10:57 a.m. Monday was referred to another law enforcement agency.

A Monday 12:13 p.m. report of a vehicle overturned on Laredo Road was referred to another law enforcement agency.

--

Deputies investigated a report of a vehicle hitting a fence, reported at the intersection of Bullhook and Clear Creek roads Monday at 1:11 p.m.

A report Monday at 2:50 p.m. of a truck in the ditch on U.S. Highway 2 West was referred to another law enforcement agency.

Landon Shea Vanwichen of Malta, 19, Brady Stone of Ovando, 19, and Trey Austin Oswald of Havre, 19, were each issued a summons on a charge of minor in possession and Justin Lane Thomas of Havre, 19, was arrested on charges of MIP and driving under the influence, after a caller on 325th Road North reported a suspicious vehicle at 9:10 p.m. Monday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Monday, as well as one call Friday.

Havre Animal Shelter

   The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats, two long-hair 8-month-old kittens, one long-hair 10-month-old kitten and a medium-hair 7-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, two medium-hair male cats, one medium-hair female cat and one short-hair female cat. Five cats are also being held for the shelter's trap-spay-neuter-release program.

   The Havre shelter also held this morning five female mixed-breed dogs, a male Rottweiler-German shepherd dog, female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 15-week-old puppy, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-Australian shepherd dog, three 7-week-old pit bull terrier puppies, two male and one female, one male pit bull terrier dog and a male mixed-breed 26-week-old puppy.
