Rocky Boy announces February students of the month

Ayana Figueroa has been selected as a student of the month for February at Rocky Boy High School.

Ayana is a diligent student and is always looking for ways to help her peers. She offers assistance to her classmates throughout the day and frequently stays after school to do peer tutoring.

Ayana is involved in the AISES club, which has been raising funds to go to Seattle on a science-based learning excursion. She is also a JMG club member where she is learning valuable job skills. She has put some of these job skills into practice, as she is employed by Walmart in Havre.

Ayana is very kind. She has a bright and friendly disposition which is contagious to those around her. She consistently provides her best efforts, setting a good example to her fellow students.

Ayana likes to travel and goes to El Salvador nearly every summer to see those in her family who currently live there. She is particularly fond of the time that she spends with her little brother Alex while she is there.

Kendal Windy Boy is the other February student of the month for Rocky Boy High School.

Kendal is under the care of India and Adam Demontiney.

Kendal is always willing to help with anything when asked. He is kind-hearted and a hard worker.

Kendall is a dual-enrolled student at the moment. He goes to Stone Child College in the afternoon to start his college career. He has started his college basketball career up with Stone Child. Kendal has always been willing to help teachers with students in the building. He is willing to work hard and be a positive role model for his family and friends.
