Havre Police Department

Officers were called to a vehicle crash on Sixth Avenue Thursday at 1:02 p.m.

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 4:11 p.m. Thursday on Montana State University-Northern campus.

Nicole Lynn Brown of Harlem, 33, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of disorderly conduct after a caller reported an intoxicated woman on First Street Northeast.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A 15-year-old boy was issued a summons on a charge of underage tobacco possession or consumption after a juvenile status offense was reported at Northstar School in Rudyard.

John Eric Stiffarm of Box Elder, 34, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant at Hill County Detention Center Thursday at 12:11 p.m.

James Dean Stump of Box Elder, 32, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft Thursday at 7:23 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday and one call early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats, two long-hair 7-month-old kittens, one long-hair 10-month-old kitten and a medium-hair 6-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, four medium-hair male cats, one short-hair male cat and one short-hair female cat.

The Havre shelter also held this morning a female mixed-breed dog, female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male golden retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 13-week-old puppy, two male pit bull terrier dogs and a male mixed-breed 25-week-old puppy.

A girl was born Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019, to Corrine and Scott Hould of Malta.
