Kueffler promoted at Independence Bank

Independence Bank announced that Andy Kueffler has been promoted to the position of ag/commercial loan officer.

Kueffler joined the Independence Bank team as a lender in May 2018.

Kueffler is a familiar face around the Golden Triangle, as he has spent the last 18 years in the agricultural equipment business, with 10 years in Havre at Tilleman Equipment.

In his new position, Kueffler said, he looks forward to the opportunity to continue working with the agricultural producers and business owners throughout the area.

"We are very pleased to see Andy move into the Loan Officer position," said Matt Wertheimer, vice president of lLending at Independence Bank. "His knowledge of the issues and concerns facing our customers along the Hi-Line, along with his work experience, make him a great addition to our team."

Kueffler graduated from Valier High School. He then attended Montana State University-Northern in Havre and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business with a minor in agricultural technology. He said he, his wife, Jodi, and the couple's two sons spend their free time hunting, hiking and enjoying all that rural Montana has to offer.
