Local News - Middle School holding invitational choir festival

Havre Middle School is hosting a Middle School Invitational Choral Festival Monday at Havre High School.  

Seventh- and eighth-grade students from Sunburst, Shelby, Chinook, Turner, Malta, Cut Bank, North Star and Havre Middle School will sing in a large mass choir under the direction of guest conductor Havre High School choral director Danielle Stoll. 

After a day of rehearsing, an evening concert will be presented at 6:30 p.m. in the Havre High School Auditorium. 

The repertoire is a diverse program including a spiritual, music based on a Victorian poem, a Latin motet, several American-inspired pieces, along with some multi-cultural music. 

  The concert is free and open to the public.
