Lights ink 30 in 2019 football recruiting class

Montana State University-Northern head football coach Andrew Rolin announced 22 new recruits last month. Wednesday, which was the second national signing day of the recruiting season, Rolin's second class as head coach at Northern grew to 30.

The complete 2019 class of signees includes six standouts from Montana. Gunnar Landrum (LB), Pat Hammond (DL) and Jonathan Baker (RB) are all joining the Lights from Kalispell-Flathead, while Maverick McKinlay of Geraldine, (DL), Duante Janikula from Great Falls (OL) and Cal Holgate (WR) Manhattan are all coming the MSU-N as well.

Holgate, who played last season for Minot State, is also part of Northern's group of transfers that should have an immediate impact. Also transferring into MSU-N are Marcus Perez (OL) from Sacramento City College, Tim Robinson (WR) from Ottawa University in Arizona, Drew Andrews (DB) from Iowa Wesleyn, Hunter Lane (WR) from Ottawa University, and Steele Ware (QB) from Dakota College.

The Lights are also bringing in a large contingent of prep recruits from all across the northwest and beyond. The list includes, Joey Quitugua II (DE) from Boise, Idaho, Sam Sanders (LB) from El Dorado Hills, California, Noah Thompson (WR) from Las Vegas, Hunter Riley (S) from Bakersfield, California, Posiulia Tupolo (OL) from Belfair, Washington, Titus Pullam (LS) from Mesa, Arizona, Denman Brinkman (OL) from Fair Oaks, California, Clayton Patterson (LB) from Vacaville, California, Kyle Jacklish (RB) from Modesto, California, Tre' Long (QB) from Lake Stevens, Washington, Dylan Wampler (LB) from Peoria, Arizona, Michael Ulugalu (LB) from Seattle, Washington, Omari Hastings (DL) from Toronto, Isiah Eubanks (S) from Kirkland, Washington, Ryan Barton (TE) from Caldwell, Idaho), Tristan Willis (OL) from Mount Vernon, Washington, Joshua Rose (CB) from Las Vegas, Zavier Baldwin (DL) from Kirkland, Washington and Marcello Longstreth (S) from Modesto, California.
