An arrest was made last night in relation of the recent spree of burglaries in Hill County.
Hill County Sheriff Jamie Ross said a 17-year-old juvenile was arrested on a state District Court warrant and a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He added that the juvenile is being held in Cascade County Juvenile Detention Center and is a suspect in the John Deere dealership burglary in addition to a number of other burglaries and thefts.
Deputies also arrested Clayton Boyd Strike of Dodson, 19, on a Justice or City court warrant.
Ross said that the sheriff’s office received a report Thursday at 8:52 p.m. of two males attempting to get into a home on Bullhook Road. He said that after investigation, deputies determined that Strike and the juvenile were not attempting a burglary but were trying to find shelter from the cold.
He added that neither Strike nor the juvenile are being charged with burglary at this time.
Ross confirmed that the juvenile arrested was the same juvenile deputies and Havre Police Officers were looking for Tuesday when investigating a residence occupied by Caroline Crazyboy, Gloria Crazyboy and Leslie Crazyboy, who were all held in the Hill County Detention Center Wednesday on suspicion of theft, where several stolen items were recovered.
This morning Gloria Crazyboy and Leslie Crazyboy are being held in Hill County Detention Center each on $5,000 bond pending charges of theft. Fabian Joel “Ju Ju” Saddler Jr., another suspect in the same string of burglaries and thefts, who was arrested Jan. 29, was in the detention center being held on $50,000 bond on pending felony charges of burglary, theft and criminal mischief and $820 bond on two counts of failure to pay and on a charge of civil criminal contempt of court.
Strike is being held on a $585 bond for a charge of failure to appear.
