Havre Police Department

Thursday at 7:15 a.m. a caller near Carpenter Park reported a possible water line break that looked like it came from the water line break on Sixth Street. Public Works was notified.

A violent offender violation was reported at the Havre Police Department Thursday at 8:53 a.m.

Jaxon Jerome Simonson of Havre, 22, was issued a summons on charges of failing to notify owner of damage to property or street after a First Avenue caller reported a Cadillac hit a fire hydrant by the Boys and Girls Club Wednesday night at around 10:30 p.m. with no damage to the hydrant.

Someone reported at the Havre Police Department Thursday at 1:21 p.m. information about a stolen vehicle and wanted to speak with an officer.

A Monroe Avenue caller reported a vehicle crash between a Dodge Truck and a Ford F-350 pickup with no injuries Thursday at 1:35 p.m.

Someone reported at the Havre Police Department of a phone scam with the caller posing as a grandkid Thursday at 2:01 p.m.

An arrest was made Thursday at 4:55 p.m. during a vehicle stop on First Street North. No further information was provided about the arrest.

A vehicle crash was reported on First Street Thursday at 6:53 p.m.

Bernard Joseph Golie of Havre, 53, was arrested on charges of trespassing and disorderly conduct Thursday at 9:42 p.m. after a First Street West caller reported a belligerent drunk male.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats, one short-hair cat, one long-hair 9-month-old kitten, a medium-hair 26-week-old kitten and two long-hair 6-month-old kittens all of unknown gender, one medium-hair female cat and four medium-hair male cats, as well as two cats for its trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning two female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog, a male border collie dog, a male mixed breed 10-week-old puppy, a female Anatolian shepherd-husky 10-month-old puppy, a female pug-Chihuahua dog and a male mixed-breed 22-week-old puppy. Another three female mixed-breed 14-week-old puppies were being fostered.
