Havre Police Department

Wednesday at 8:22 a.m. officers transported a man from 10th Street West to the police station.

Officers transported a juvenile from Havre Middle School to the police station Wednesday at 8:33 a.m.

--

Wednesday at 10:40 a.m. a 16th Street caller reported suspicious activity that occurred during the night.

--

A Third Street West caller reported theft from his room Wednesday at 11:59 a.m.

--

A vehicle crash on Fifth Avenue was reported Wednesday at 12:29 p.m.

--

Jacqueline Colleen Chiefstick of Laredo, 39, and Joshua Robert-Monroe Guyton of Laredo, 22, were each arrested on a charge of trespass to property, after a Third Avenue caller reported a complaint from a tenant Wednesday at 3:17 p.m.

A First Street Northeast caller asked for officer assistance Wednesday at 10:29 p.m. with a parenting issue.

--

Tanner Joseph Walker of Havre, 36, was arrested on a violation of conditions of release charge after a Second Street caller reported suspicious activity at 1:25 a.m. today.

--

A caller reported a water main break on Ninth Avenue at 1:29 a.m. today.

--

Officers provided traffic control for a down power line on 11th Street West at 5:38 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Brint Weston Mack of Havre, 27, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Jordan Miles Hobson of Havre, 26, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and stop sign violation, during a vehicle stop on Second Avenue Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Esequeil Pepe Velasquez of Box Elder, 40, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, after a First Street caller reported suspicious activity at 8:23 p.m.

Milo Gerald Stiffarm of Hays, 27, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant during a vehicle stop on First Street Wednesday at 11:22 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Firefighters were called to the 100 Block of Second Street West for a gas smell Wednesday at 4:22 p.m. A gas meter had been damaged and HFD provided standby until NorthWestern Energy crews arrived and fixed the problem.

A caller on the 900 Block of Wilson Avenue reported a vehicle fire at 5:53 a.m. Fire department crews on standby for a downed power line on 11th Street West investigated and determined it was reflection in from emergency vehicle lights causing an optical illusion.

Three Other calls were reported on page 1 of today's paper.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats, one short-hair cat, one long-hair 9-month-old kitten, a medium-hair 26-week-old kitten and two long-hair 6-month-old kittens all of unknown gender, one medium-hair female cat and four medium-hair male cats, as well as two cats for its trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning two female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog, a male border collie dog, a female Anatolian shepherd-husky 10-month-old puppy, a female pug-Chihuahua dog and a male mixed-breed 22-week-old puppy. Another three female mixed-breed 14-week-old puppies were being fostered.
