Havre Police Department

Officers served a search warrant on Ninth Street at 1:02 p.m. Monday.

A vehicle crash was reported at Third Avenue and Seventh Street Monday at 1:17 p.m.

--

A two-car vehicle crash at 10th Avenue and Second Street was reported at 2:08 p.m.

--

Monday at 8:05 p.m. a Second Street caller asked to speak with an officer, and the issue was referred to another law enforcement agency.

--

Officers were called to a First Street West business Monday at 10:28 p.m. because a disruptive man refused to leave, and the incident was resolved peacefully.

--

Officers assisted Havre Fire Department at a vehicle fire on Lincoln Avenue at 12:36 a.m. today.

--

Monica Ekhoff of Havre, 25, was arrested on charges of traffic crime and aggravated driving under the influence during a vehicle stop on Second Avenue at 1:42 this morning.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies served to warrants on 10th Street at 10:06 a.m. Monday. No details on the charges were provided.

Betty Bailey Ranes of Havre, 58, was served three Justice or City court warrants at Hill County Detention Center Monday at 1:02 p.m.

Josh Harvey Herrig of Havre, 23, was served a state District Court warrant at the detention center Monday at 1:12 p.m.

Kaleb Steven Dobrenz of Havre, 22, was served a state District Court warrant Monday at 1:14 p.m. at the detention center.

A summons was issued after a 15th Street Northeast caller reported a theft, forgery or fraud Monday 9 p.m. No details on the charges were provided.

Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department

Firefighters were called at 3:03 p.m. Saturday to a vehicle fire on County Road 334, off U.S. Highway 87. One unit with two firefighters extinguished the fire, which was contained to the pickup truck. The pickup, which had caught on fire while being driven, was a total loss, but no one was injured in the incident. Cause of the fire is unknown.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Monday and two calls this morning.

Firefighters responded to a call to First Street Monday at 10:52 a.m., but it turned out to be a false call.

--

Firefighters were called to a gas smell on the 600 Block of Fourth Avenue at 1:47 p.m. Monday. No smell was detected and the scene was turned over to NorthWestern Energy for further investigation as the HFD crew responded another call.

A possible carbon monoxide problem was reported from the 10 Block of Second Avenue Monday at 1:51 p.m. Firefighters could detect no gas, but NorthWestern crews were called in for continued investigation.

Firefighters were called to a vehicle fire at 12:32 a.m. today on the 1000 Block of Lincoln Avenue. The engine compartment fire was contained to the pickup, which had heavy damage. Cause of the fire is unknown.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held one medium-hair cat, one short-hair cat, one long-hair 9-month-old kitten and two long-hair 6-month-old kittens all of unknown gender, one medium-hair female cat and four medium-hair male cats, as well as two cats for its trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning two female mixed-breed dogs, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog, a male border collie dog, a female Anatolian shepherd-husky 10-month-old puppy, a female pug-Chihuahua dog and a male mixed-breed 21-week-old puppy. Another three female mixed-breed 13-week-old puppies were being fostered.
