Havre Police Department

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business reported Thursday at 7:25 a.m. possibly sighting a person from Kalispell who has been reported missing.

Thursday at 9:57 a.m. a caller from BNSF Railway reported a gas spill that their crews were cleaning up.

A red backpack was reported found Thursday at 10:08 a.m. on the back porch of a Second Street residence.

--

Someone stopped at the police station at 11:03 a.m. Thursday to report an altered check.

A caller on First Street reported Thursday at 12:39 p.m. tires were slashed on a Fort Belknap patrol car.

Diane Carol Nault of Havre, 43, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at a First Street business reported Thursday at 1:39 p.m. seeing a woman with a warrant.

Thursday at 6:06 p.m. a caller with the Child Abuse Hotline passed along a report of a possible drug sale on First Street Northeast.

--

A caller reported Thursday at 11:31 p.m. beer was stolen from a First Street West business.

--

Officers assisted Montana Highway Patrol on Fifth Avenue at 12:05 a.m. today.

Ten arrests were made after a Bonine Drive caller reported a noise complaint at 1:01 a.m. today. No details were provided on the charges.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

An arrest was made after a caller on Bullhook Road reported a suspicious woman walking southbound with no shoes on Thursday at 11:29 p.m. No details were provided on the charges.

A warrant was served at Hill County Detention Center at 1:41 p.m. Thursday, but no details on charges was provided.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Thursday.

Firefighters responded to a 6:48 p.m. report of a smoke smell at a residence on the 1500 Block of Second Street. No smoke or fire was detected and no problems were reported later.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held one medium-hair cat, one short-hair cat, one long-hair 9-month-old kitten and two long-hair 6-month-old kittens all of unknown gender, one medium-hair female cat and five medium-hair male cats, as well as eight cats for its trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning a male miniature pinscher dog, two female mixed-breed dogs, a male pit bull-Brittany spaniel dog, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-corgi 8-month-old puppy, a female shepherd-Labrador retriever dog, a male shepherd dog, a male border collie dog, a female Anatolian shepherd-husky 10-month-old puppy, a female pug-Chihuahua dog and a male mixed-breed 21-week-old puppy. Another three female mixed-breed 13-week-old puppies were being fostered.

Births

A boy was born Monday, January 28, 2019, to Sophia Guzman and Kenneth Sengal of Havre.
