The organizers of the Native American Classic from Rocky Boy and Box Elder Schools would like to thank Jody Olson, executive director of the Havre Chamber of Commerce, Gary and Leo’s Fresh Foods, Taco John’s, Pepsi and especially the Tourism Business Improvement District for their generous contributions during our event. Jody was extremely generous with her time and TBID provided much-appreciated financial support to sponsor the hospitality room at the NAC. Gary & Leo’s Fresh Foods, Taco John’s and Pepsi all made donations of food or drinks. The hospitality room was made available for school administrators, board members, coaches, basketball officials, and workers from Montana State University-Northern at Havre Central gymnasium.
Hosting an event that brings in exciting entertainment and financial support for the local economy takes the efforts of many people and business and we would also like to thank MSU-N, Havre Central and the community of Havre for providing the facilities that made this possible. Our communities are very interconnected and it is always a pleasure to be involved in something that promotes positivity throughout north-central Montana. We look forward to continuing to develop strong, positive partnerships between our communities for future events and activities.
Respectfully,
Jeremy MacDonald
Superintendent Box Elder Schools
