A Montana Avenue caller reported a water main break Friday at 7:25 a.m., and dispatch referred the call to Havre Public Works.

Darnell Kay Champagne of Box Elder, 40, was arrested on a partner of family member assault charge after a caller at First Street business reported a possible domestic disturbance between a man and a woman Friday at 3:24 p.m.

A caller on 12th Avenue reported Friday at 3:33 p.m. a vehicle struck a porch.

Officers were caller to the scene of vehicle crash at First Avenue and First Street at 3:41 p.m. Friday.

Someone stopped at the police station Friday at 3:45 p.m. to report fraudulent activity on a debit card.

A caller at a First Street West establishment reported a fight outside the bar Saturday at 12:31 a.m.

A 2:32 a.m. Saturday caller reported a water main break at Seventh Street and 12th Avenue, and public works was notified.

A hit-and-run crash was reported in a Montana State University-Northern parking lot Saturday at 8:29 a.m.

Someone stopped at the police station Saturday at 9:48 a.m. to report a missing girl. An officer said she was returned an hour and a half later.

Wayne Jennings Cochran of Havre, 34, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after Cochran asked Saturday at 10:13 a.m. on 17th Street West for a civil standby while picking up daughter.

A caller reported vandalism to an abandoned grocery store on First Street Saturday at 1:52 p.m.

A caller reported a crash between two pickup trucks at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business Saturday at 3:02 p.m.

Officers were asked to provide a civil standby Saturday at 5:23 p.m. on First Street Northeast.

A caller reported a two-Chevrolet, non-injury crash on First Street Saturday at 6:09 p.m.

At 7:25 p.m. Saturday a caller at Havre High School reported a hit-and-run vehicle crash.

Marvin Daniel Flying of Havre, 53, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at a First Street business reported at man was running toward people yelling.

A caller on 14th Avenue called to ask about a water break Saturday at 8:41 p.m.

Officers investigated suspicious activity on Second Street at 3:07 a.m. Sunday.

Jacob Cole Krebs of Box Elder, 27, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and violation of conditions of release, and Brittney Alice Bradley or Havre, 20, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, during a vehicle stop on Third Avenue Sunday at 7:48 a.m.

An Eighth Avenue caller reported a hit-and-run crash Sunday at 7:53 a.m.

Anthony Loren Lawson of Havre, 41, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after he called for assistance removing a woman from a residence Sunday at 8:12 a.m. on Third Street.

Officers were called to a vehicle crash at Fifth Street and Seventh Avenue Sunday at 10:05 a.m.

An officer initiated assistance with an incident on 13th Street Sunday at 12:52 p.m.

A pickup truck slid into a car in a parking lot on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest Sunday at 6:37 p.m.

Betty Bailey Ranes of Havre, 58, was arrested at the police station Sunday at 8:37 p.m. on a criminal contempt charge related to a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

Three arrests were made during a 13th Avenue vehicle stop at 2:23 a.m. today. No details on the charges was provided.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Friday and two Saturday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats, one long-hair 8-month-old kitten and two long-hair 6-month-old kittens of unknown gender, one medium-hair female cat and four medium-hair male cats, as well as seven cats for its trap-spay/neuter-release program.

The Havre shelter also held this morning a male American bulldog, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female Labrador retriever dog, a female Weimaraner-dachshund dog, a male shepherd dog, a female Anatolian shepherd-husky 10-month-old puppy and a male pit bull-Labrador 9-month-old puppy.

Births

A boy was born Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, to Skylah Morsette and Junior Day Child of Box Elder.
