North Central Senior Citizens Center, Jan. 14-18

Monday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tuesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m .; bingo at 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m; TOPS at 8 a.m.. Walmart shopping from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Thursday — Transportation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m .; Great Falls trip at 8 a.m.

Friday — Medical transportation will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. but people must make a request at least 24 hours in advance.

Tuesday — Salad, meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, green beans, rolls, peach cobbler

Wednesday — Chili, baked potato buffet, peanut butter bars

Thursday — Chicken pot pie, biscuits, salad, fruit

Friday — Soup, salad bar, chef’s choice, dessert, milk

Attention all seniors: Tax aides are here at the Senior Center. Appointments will begin Feb. 4 and will be scheduled on Mondays and Tuesdays only. Call us at 265-5464 and get your appointment scheduled now.

We are celebrating receiving funding from the United Way of Hill County. This is always an important part of our funding for the Meals on Wheels and Volunteer Programs. Thank you to everyone involved. It will help provide Meals on Wheels services to our seniors. Thank you again.

Medicare’s General Enrollment Period is Jan. 1 through March 31. You can apply for Medicare Part A and/or Part B now if both of these apply to you:

• You didn’t sign up when you were first eligible.

• You aren’t eligible for a Special Enrollment Period.

Note: In most cases, if you don’t sign up for Medicare Part B when you’re first eligible, you may have to pay a late enrollment penalty.
