Rocky Boy names students of the month

Watson Whitford, known as an exceptional and ardent student, is one of Rocky Boy Schools students of the month for December,

Watson's nominator said he is not only exceptional in the realm of academics, but also is a budding community leader. Watson is continually seeking new ideas to benefit his classmates and the student body at Rocky Boy Junior/Senior High School. He is often found smiling, working diligently and helping his peers. He brings out the best in the people around him. His sincerity is rare and a boon to the community. As class president, he promotes new experiences for his peers. He is not afraid to ask questions and seek for greater understanding

April Windy Boy, called a cheerful artist and diligent student, is the other Rocky Boy student of the month. Her nominator said her quiet manners and thoughtfulness are a delight in any classroom. April is determined to create beautiful things. in storytelling, art and the world around her. She is active in community leadership. Her kindness and authenticity is felt by all who meet her, her nominator said. She recently joined the 1300 Club for her high achievement in reading scores.
