Jacob Miller, Havre High Swimming
Havre High’s Jacob Miller wasn’t going to let his last home meet of the 2018-19 season go without making a splash. The Blue Pony standout swimmer instead won the 200 IM with a time of 2:34.41, while finishing second in the 100 butterfly at Saturday’s Class A Meet inside the Havre Community Pool. Miller also swam on the Pony relay teams, while helping HHS to a second-place finish in the meet against Hardin and Billings Central.
L'Tia Lawrence, Harlem Girls Basketball
The Harlem Wildcats are rolling right now and so is junior L’Tia Lawrence. In Harlem’s return from Christmas break, Lawrence scored 24 points in a win over Chinook last Thursday, then poured in 20 in an easy victory over Glasgow Friday night. Lawrence, who is already a two-time Class B All-State performer, leads the Wildcats in scoring, is also a standout runner on Harlem’s cross country and track and field teams as well.
