Two 16-year-olds were arrested after a Washington Avenue caller reported a burglary in progress Saturday at 5:06 a.m. Both teens were arrested on charges that included two counts of burglary to a residence, juvenile curfew violations and minor in possession. One of the teens had an additional charge of probation violation.

A Third Street caller reported Friday at 9:27 a.m. a car was broken into during the night.

Jacob William Rowin of Havre, 26, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served on First Street at 12:29 p.m. Saturday.

Zakary Kenneth Canning of Havre, 23, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, disorderly conduct and driving under the influence after a Fifth Street caller reported a domestic disturbance Saturday at 11:19 p.m.

Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Friday and three calls Saturday.

Firefighters responded to report of a broken gas line on the 4100 Block of 66th Avenue West Friday at 1:29 p.m. The owner had been digging on the property and struck a line that ran to the house. Firefighters provided standby until NorthWestern Energy crews arrived to fix the line.
Havre Animal Shelter
The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats of unknown gender and four medium-hair male cats.

The Havre shelter this morning also held a male American bulldog, a female mixed-breed dog, a female Labrador retriever dog, a male Australian cattle dog-blue healer cross dog, a female Anatolian shepherd/husky 9-month-old puppy and a male pit bull-Labrador 9-month-old puppy.
