Havre Police Department

A 10th Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 12:07 p.m. someone may have attempted to break into her house be a door was broken.

Wednesday at 12:34 p.m. a caller on First Street reported a trailer plate was stolen.

A caller on Second Street asked at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday to speak with an officer about a woman who had stolen items from the caller's home.

--

An arrest was made after a 5:56 p.m. Wednesday caller asked to speak with an officer about a civil standby request called in at 4:47 p.m. No details on the charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Anthony Harkins, a man named in the log as an involved party, is listed in this morning's jail roster with charges of obstructing, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and violation of a protection order.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Wednesday at 4:05 p.m. she was assaulted.

Deputies served a restraining order on Sixth Avenue Wednesday at 4:48 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Wednesday and two today.

Firefighters and an ambulance responded to a carbon-monoxide alarm on the 900 Block of Sixth Avenue at 12:14 p.m. Wednesday. NorthWestern Energy was called to the scene.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats of unknown gender and four medium-hair male cats.

The Havre shelter this morning also held a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog, a male American bulldog, a female mixed-breed dog, a female Labrador retriever dog, a male Australian cattle dog-blue healer cross dog, a female Anatolian shepherd/husky 9-month-old puppy and a male pit bull-Labrador 9-month-old puppy.
