Kobi Burchard, Havre High Swimming

Havre High sophomore Kobi Burchard has wasted little time in getting her 2018-19 swimming season off to a good start. Burchard placed second in two events at last month’s Havre Invitational and finished second in the 100-meter breaststroke at the Great Falls Pre Relay Meet last month as well. Burchard competes in the breaststroke and butterfly for the Blue Ponies, who host the Class A Meet this Saturday at the Havre Community Pool.

Kellen Detrick, Havre High Boys Basketball

Just a sophomore, Havre High's Kellen Detrick is having an impactful start to the 2018-19 boys basketball season. Scoring in double figures this season, Derrick poured in 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a tough loss at CMR just before Christmas break. Detrick also had strong outings at Livingston, Belgrade and Malta before the end of 2018. He was also an All-Conference defensive end for the Blue Pony football team this past fall.
