North Star speech and drama excels in Shelby

The North Star speech and drama team traveled to blustery Shelby Saturday and placed well in the tournament. 

As a team, they placed second in speech and fourth in drama.

Individually, the results are: impromptu — Garret Pedersen, fifth, Daniel Nerat, third; dramatic interpretation — Ashley Otto, fourth; spontaneous interpretation — Aubrey Welch, fourth; humorous interpretation — Hayden Massar, first, and in classical acting — Choral Wicks and Katie Berg, second. 

This weekend, the team travels to Chinook to take on 10 other teams.
