Havre Police Department

Thursday at 8:09 p.m. a Second Street caller asked for assistance with her daughter.

A 17-year-old was issued a summons on charges of juvenile curfew violations and violation of conditions of release after a First Street caller at 1:14 a.m. today asked for assistance with her grandson.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Jacob James Bauer of Havre, 36, was arrested at Hill County Detention Center at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, on a state District Court warrant.

Eugene James Walls of Great Falls, 45, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant at the detention center Thursday at 2:10 p.m.

Deputies investigated a Thursday at 3:08 p.m. complaint from a caller on First Street West.

Sunshine Main of Havre, 37, was issued a summons on a charge of shoplifting after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Thursday at 8:35 p.m. having a shoplifter in custody.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Thursday.

Firefighters were called for a gas smell to a warehouse on the 1000 block of First Street Thursday at 8:50 a.m. No leaking gas was detected, but NorthWestern Energy employees who also responded were going to stay longer to try to figure what was going on.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held one short-haired cat, two medium-hair cats, one long-hair cat and one 9-month-old medium-hair kitten all of unknown gender, two short-hair female cats, one medium-hair male cat and one long-hair female cat, along with 10 feral cats for its spay/neuter and release program.

The Havre shelter this morning also held a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog, a female mixed-breed dog, a female mixed-breed 26-week-old puppy, a male Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 26-week-old puppy, a female pit bull terrier-American bulldog 6-month-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy, a male Labrador retriever-border collie 6-month-old puppy and a female mixed-breed 12-month-old puppy.
