Sale of the Holiday Village Mall pushed back

Havre’s Holiday Village Shopping Center has changed it’s auction date to Jan. 8, 2019.

A public sales notice received and printed by the Havre Daily News said that Jones Lang LaSalle Americas Inc. on behalf of Colfin Security National Properties Mezz Funding LLC will hold a public auction.

Colfin SNP Mezz Funding is a Delaware limited liability company that owns Louisiana-based Security National Properties Funding IV-Havre LLC, owners of the Holiday Village.

Earlier this year Colfin SNP Mezz announced it will be auctioning off some of the company’s properties to avoid bankruptcy. Previously it was stated in a public sales notice that the properties would be auctioned off Thuesday of next week. The date has now been moved to January.

JLL Executive Vice President Brett Rosenberg said she was unable to provide any information other than the date of the auction has been changed.

Mall manager Chandra Moomey did not respond to a request for comment about the sale or the mall by printing deadline this morning.

Tenants of the Holiday Village said that the mall has changed ownership in the past. They added that the sale of the mall does not mean that the local businesses in the mall are closing and they will continue business.
