Havre Police Department

A caller with the Border Patrol reported a lost license plate Wednesday at 8:55 a.m.

A 10th Avenue caller asked to speak with an officer about a theft, forgery or fraud at 1:47 p.m. Wednesday.

--

Jamie Lea Dowling of Havre, 21, was arrested on a charge of criminal contempt at the police station Wednesday at 7:21 p.m.

--

Someone stopped at the police station Wednesday at 7:49 p.m. to report a renter had vandalized property.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A jacket, phone and case were reported found in the ditch on 22nd Avenue Wednesday at 10:20 a.m.

A caller at the south edge of Box Elder reported Wednesday at 3:22 p.m. two horses were out on U.S. Highway 87.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held two short-haired cats, four medium-hair cats, one long-hair cat and one 9-month-old medium-hair kitten all of unknown gender, one short-hair female cat, one medium-hair male cat and two long-hair female cats, along with nine feral cats for its spay/neuter and release program.

The Havre shelter this morning also held a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog, a female mixed-breed dog, a female mixed-breed 26-week-old puppy, a male Labrador retriever dog, a female pit bull terrier-American bulldog 6-month-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy, a male Labrador retriever-border collie 6-month-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 11-month-old puppy and a female Australian shepherd-German shepherd dog.
