Havre Police Department

Jacob James Bauer of Havre, 36, was issued a summons on a charge of partner or family member assault after a 15th Avenue caller reported a disturbance Thursday at 11:46 a.m.

A caller at a First Street West business Thursday at 12:24 p.m. reported a theft.

--

A juvenile at Havre Middle School was issued a summons on a tobacco violation reported from the school at 4:10 p.m. Thursday.

--

Someone stopped at the police station Thursday at 6:15 p.m. asking to speak with an officer about a past assault.

--

Jesse Lee Schoening of Havre, 29, was arrested on charges of resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and probation violation, after a Havre area caller reported a possible probation violation Thursday at 11:10 p.m.

An arrest was made this morning after a 4:59 a.m. caller at a First Street West business reported an intoxicated man. No details on the charges were provided.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Gary Clayton Standingchief Jr. was arrested on a probation violation charge after a deputy investigated suspicious activity on U.S. Highway 2 East near the former outdoor movie theater Thursday at 11:07 a.m.

A caller at North Star School reported suspicious graffiti at 12:32 p.m. Thursday.

Thursday at 2:28 p.m. a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft, forger or fraud.

A Fifth Street North caller reported suspicious activity at 3:19 p.m. Thursday.

--

An arrest was made after callers at 4:56, 5:18 and 5:51 p.m. reported an erratic driver on U.S. Highway 2. No details were provided on the charges.

A caller at 11:03 p.m. Thursday asked for a well-being check of someone on Second Street Northwest.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats, one short hair cat and one long-hair cat all of unknown gender; one short-hair female cat and one long-hair female cat; and five 8-week-old kittens were being fostered until adoption.

The Havre shelter this morning also held a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog, a male German shepherd dog, a female mixed-breed dog, a male Labrador retriever 21-week-old puppy, a male Labrador retriever dog, a male mixed-breed 11-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy, a male Labrador retriever-border collie 26-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 11-month-old puppy and a female Australian shepherd-German shepherd dog.
