Havre Youth Baseball Association hosts Bowling for Baseball

Winter is here and Havre Youth Baseball can’t play baseball so we decided to bowl with the Eighth Annual Jackpot Turkey Bowl.

Havre Youth Baseball Association will be hosting their eighth annual jackpot bowling event fundraiser at Harvest Moon Lanes in Havre this Saturday.

All skill levels of bowling are welcome to this event. People can hit colored pins to win money, prizes and maybe a turkey. A raffle for an AR223 rifle will be held and drawings will be held for men’s and women’s packages. Best Turkey-themed costume or team will win a prize. Cost is $25 per person.

People can register by calling Harvest Moon Lanes at 265-5885 or show up for registration starting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Havre Youth Baseball Association is also hosting the premiere strikers bowling tournament fundraiser Saturday. The bowling tournament is a non-sanctioned open bowling event. The format is doubles bowling and will be based on handicap. Aggressive handicaps will be assigned if people do not have one established, so everyone has a chance at the top prize, which is guaranteed to be $1,000 for first prize. The top three teams will earn cash prizes. Entry is $70 per team with a 44-team limit so people are urged to call Harvest Moon Lanes to register at 265-5885. Registration begins Saturday morning at 9.

Havre Wrestling Club will be hosting the Cat/Griz fundraiser at noon in Harvest Moon Lounge so people have three events all at one location this Saturday.
