Rocky Boy Schools is pleased to announce Kristie Parker as October's Student of the Month

Tyler LaMere is Rocky Boy's other October student of the month.

Tyler has taken at least one industrial arts class every semester for the last three years.

He has had his ups and downs during that time, but he has shown an interest and an avocation for the industrial arts area, said Jerry Coleman, who nominated Tyler, adding that he is becoming a productive welder, now able to do more advanced projects and repair jobs.

Coleman said he nominated Tyler because he has witnessed Tyler's maturing growth as he becomes an adult. His behavior and attitude have greatly improved and so have his grades. While he still has struggles, he is finding it easier to succeed and is much more consistent to his approach to his studies.
