Havre Police Department

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on an assault charge after a caller at Havre High School reported an assault Tuesday at 10:26 a.m.

Tuesday at 10:57 a.m. a Havre-area caller asked for officer assistance.

Two summonses were issued after a caller at Havre Middle School reported Tuesday at 12:28 p.m. two students were fighting. No details on charges were provided.

A caller eastbound on 9th Street reported a missing boy at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

--

A missing juvenile was reported from Smithville Road at 6:02 p.m. Tuesday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were called to investigate an assault at Hill County Detention Center Monday at 5:36 p.m.

A deputy on U.S. Highway 2 West initiated investigation of vandalism at 11:08 p.m. Monday.

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on charges of motor vehicle theft and theft, all others, after a U.S. Highway 87 caller reported a theft at 4:18 p.m. Tuesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Tuesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held one medium-hair cat and two short-hair cat of unknown gender and six 6-week-old kittens being fostered until ready for adoption. Another 15 cats and two kittens, all of unknown gender, were listed separately as being held in the shelter or at a volunteer shelter.

The Havre shelter this morning also held a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog, a male German shepherd dog, a female mixed-breed dog, a male shepherd 24-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 9-month-old puppy and a female mixed-breed 11-month-old puppy.
