Havre Police Department

A caller on 17th Street West reported at 10:28 a.m. Wednesday that a child was trying to find her mother.

Wednesday at 10:39 a.m. a First Street Northeast caller reported a theft from a vehicle.

--

A Fifth Avenue caller reported Wednesday at 1:29 p.m. that two chainsaws were missing.

A possible stabbing was called in to 911 from 11th Avenue at 2:59 p.m. Wednesday. An arrest was made, but no details were provided in the dispatch log or in response before print deadline to a phone inquiry. Matthew Alcorn, who is listed in the dispatch log as a possible involved party, was listed on the jail roster this morning with a charge of felony tampering with evidence.

Officers did a followup investigation at the hospital Wednesday at 3:32 p.m. on a four-wheeler accident.

Keenan Lewis Doney of Havre, 28, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after a 911 caller reported a man walking in the middle of Second Street Wednesday at 5:49 p.m.

Officers rendered services after a 10th Street West caller reported Wednesday at 7:28 p.m. a 10-year-old boy was being harassed.

Officers investigated a 24/7 Sobriety Program no-show Wednesday at 8:01 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

After a 911 caller on First Avenue Southwest in Box Elder reported gun shots at 12:46 p.m. Wednesday, investigating deputies arrested six Box Elder residents. Paul Joseph Theboy, 30, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant; Michael James Lamere, 36, and Nina Maria Demontiney, 31, were each arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and probation violation; Demarise Melanie St. Mark, 34, was arrested on a charge of obstructing and on a Justice or City court warrant; Lloyd Daniel Henry, 46, was arrested on a charge of obstructing; and Jayson Richard Mcguire, 30, was arrested on charges of obstructing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A Rudyard Road South caller reported Wednesday at 9:42 p.m. receiving harassing texts.

Deputies were asked to assist at a structure fire on Boulevard Avenue at 1:39 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday and two calls early this morning, including the 1:39 a.m. fire callon Boulevard Avenue.

Firefighters were called Wednesday at 4:13 p.m. to a construction site on the 1000 Block of First Street after a main gas line was struck. Fire crews performed standby while NorthWestern Energy crews repaired the damage

Firefighters were called to a structure fire on the 900 Block of Boulevard Avenue at 1:39 a.m. today. The home received extensive damage and will possibly be determined to be a total loss, Fire Chief Mel Paulson said, but no one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation, he added.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held one medium-hair cat and one short-hair cat of unknown gender and six 5-week-old kittens being fostered until ready for adoption. Another 28 cats and a 6-month-old kitten, all of unknown gender, were listed separately as being held in the shelter or at a volunteer shelter.

The Havre shelter this morning also held a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog, a male German shepherd dog, a female mixed-breed dog, a female pit bull-terrier-German shepherd dog, a male shepherd 23-week-old puppy, a female German shepherd-Bernese mountain dog 9-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 8-month-old puppy and a female mixed-breed 10-month-old puppy.

Births

A boy was born Monday, Oct. 29, 2018, to Jordana Haas and Payton Peterson of Havre.
