Happy Halloween from the Havre-Hill County Library. Whether you’re dressing up and taking the family trick or treating this year, throwing a party and handing out Halloween candy at home, or turning off the lights and having a scary movie marathon, don’t forget about the Havre-Hill County Library when you’re making plans. Boo!
Books and Babies is every Wednesday at 10:15 a.m., and Story Time is every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. This week after reading books about Halloween we will be playing some fun Halloween games, like Pin the Bat on the Jack, Terrifying Twister and Trick Tac Toe. If you’ve never been to Books and Babies or Story Time before, please join us. It’s a great way to meet other parents in the community, and for your kids to make new friends.
We will also be handing out candy all day, so stop by and Trick or Treat! While you’re here, get a picture of yourself in costume at our Photo Stop! We have a spooky backdrop set up, and you can ask the staff for help taking pictures on your phone or camera. The Photo Stop is open now through Halloween, during our regular open hours.
We will also be showing the first in a series of finance education webinars, the Psychology of Money, at noon on Halloween. Whether your personal finances are a horror story, or you’re just a little spooked by them, there is something for you to learn from the Solid Finances webinar series. Brought to you by the Montana State University Extension, and the North Dakota State University Extension, Solid Finances gives consumers the tools they need to make sound financial decisions for their situation. Pack a lunch, wear a costume if you’d like, and join us for this screening of the Psychology of Money at the Havre-Hill County Library.
As always, all library events are free and open to the public. If you have any questions, please call Rachel at 265-2123, email us at [email protected], or stop by at 402 3rd St. Follow us on Facebook to for updates on what’s happening at the Havre-Hill County Library.
