Havre Police Department

A non-injury vehicle crash between a Jeep and a pickup truck was reported at 8:06 a.m. Thursday on Fifth Street.

Darnell Kay Champagne of Box Elder, 39, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after an officer initiated investigation of suspicious activity in an alley between Second and Third streets Thursday at 11:25 a.m.

Thursday at 2:41 p.m. a Second Street caller reported a watch was stolen.

Kurt Allan Eagleman of Havre, 38, was arrested on charges of probation violation and possession of drug paraphernalia while an officer was assisting another agency at a First Street establishment Thursday at 5:19 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

The Child Abuse Hotline reported at 10:35 a.m. Thursday a possible child abuse incident in the Havre area.

Two arrests were made at 12:41 a.m. today after a deputy investigated suspicious activity at Beaver Creek Reservoir. No details were provided on the charges.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one Himalayan, one medium-hair and one short-hair cat and a short-hair 6-month-old kitten all of unknown gender and six 5-week-old kittens being fostered until ready for adoption. Another 13 cats and a 26-week-old kitten, all of unknown gender, were listed separately as being held in the shelter.

The shelter this morning also held a male German shepherd dog, a female mixed-breed dog, a female pit bull-terrier-German shepherd dog, a male shepherd 23-week-old puppy, a female German shepherd-Bernese mountain dog 8-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 8-month-old puppy and a female mixed-breed 10-month-old puppy.

Births

A boy was born Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, to Monique Jacobs-Jackson and Thomas Jones Jr. of Havre.
