Obituary - Theodore F. "Ted" Clikeman

Theodore F. "Ted" Clikeman of Rochester, MN, 83, died Monday, October 1, 2018, at Cottagewood Senior Communities.

Theodore Frank Clikeman was born May 10, 1935, to Frank and Katherine (Redekop) Clikeman in Havre, MT. He graduated from high school in Chinook, MT, and enlisted in the U.S. Navy from 1954-1957. He earned his Bachelor of Science in engineering from Montana State College in Bozeman, MT.

On April 25, 1959, he married Darlene Nicholson in Grafton, IA. The couple made their home in Rochester, MN, in 1964, at which time he began working for IBM, retiring in 1996. After retiring, he taught basic computer skills at the Rochester Senior Citizen Center. He enjoyed doing home projects with his children, genealogy and woodworking.

Ted is survived by his wife, Darlene of Rochester, MN; daughter, Andrea (Dave) Walkosz of Eagan, MN; son, Chad (Jody) Clikeman of Rochester, MN; three grandchildren, Breanna Meagher, Sydney Clikeman and Tyler Walkosz; two great-grandchildren, Aidan and Silas; brother

Charlie (Danette) Clikeman of Georgetown, TX and sister Linda (Dave) Higbea of Clay Center,NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Peggy Clikeman and Nancy Fournier, and brothers Dick and John Clikeman.

A celebration of life will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the Ranfranz and Vine Remembrance and Reception Centre, 5482 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 22, 2018, at Oakwood Cemetery.
