Havre Police Department

Sean Sidney Mosher of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after officers followed up on Saturday at 11:42 a.m. 911 call in which the caller hung up, but the call was plotted to a 9th Avenue location.

A caller on Third Avenue reported Saturday at 7:20 p.m. a window broken out of a van.

A caller at a First Street West business reported Sunday at 7:27 a.m. a woman assaulted by her boyfriend.

A theft was reported at a First Street business Sunday at 10:01 a.m.

Michelle Dawn Harris of Havre, 53, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Sunday at 5:48 p.m. at a Ninth Avenue business.

Vickie Gaile Cochran of Box Elder, 50, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after an 11th Avenue caller asked at 6 p.m. Sunday to speak with an officer.

--

A caller on McKinley Avenue asked Sunday at 11:35 p.m. to speak with an officer.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies arrested Leah Huntley of Havre, 40, on Justice or City court warrants at 9:42 a.m. Friday on he 3000 Block of 9th Street East.

Deputies responding to a 11:12 a.m. Saturday call from a U.S. Highway 2 West business issued a summons to Cheryl Elizabeth Freide of Chinook, 49, on a charge of theft by shoplifting.

Deputies responding to a 7:41 p.m. Saturday call from a U.S. Highway 2 West business issued a summons to Micheal Washburn of Reidsville, North Carolina, 26, on a charge of theft by shoplifting.

Deputies at 7:38 a.m. Sunday arrested Devone James LaSarte of Harlem, 25, at a location on the 1200 Block of U.S. Highway 87 on charges of partner or family member assault, sexual intercourse without consent, unlawful restraint, tampering with a communication device and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Friday and eight calls Saturday.

Firefighters responded to a smoke alarm activation on the Montana State University-Northern campus at 11:47 p.m. Sunday, but it was just smoke from a barbecuer that blew into a building through an open window.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one Himalayan, one long-hair and three medium-hair cats and a short-hair 26-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, a male and a female 9-month-old short-hair kittens, a male medium-hair 6-week-old kitten, a female medium-hair cat, a male 19-week-old medium-hair kitten and a 7-month-old male medium-hair kitten, as well as six 3-week-old kittens being fostered until ready for adoption.

The shelter this morning also held a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog, a male German shepherd dog, a female pit bull-terrier-German shepherd dog, a male shepherd 21-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 8-month-old puppy, a male border collie-Chihuahua 16-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 10-month-old puppy and a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-German shepherd dog, as well as three puppies: two male mixed-breed 8-week-old puppies and a male pit bull terrier cross 8-week-old puppy.
